De-Clutter Your Home in 91 Days

Hey everyone! I am so excited to announce a "Challenge" I am going to be doing! Mary from over at Mary Organizes   is hosting this great "De-Clutter Your Home In 91 Days"! My first thought was this is such great timing, when we finish with this challenge it will be real close to "Holiday" time! If you are like most families I know you are probably going crazy around Thanksgiving time, trying to get your house organized and clean for guests to come over and enjoy company! This will start on September 1st! Mary will also be giving away prizes, go check out here blog HERE for more info! I am looking around the rooms I will be getting organized and I see a lot of things I can get rid of! Check back sometime next week to see what I did in my kitchen for the 1st week!

Sugar Love Boutique

Hey everyone! Hope your all having a great weekend! I wanted to share a few shirts I ordered, I am just so excited! I have been wanting to order from a few online boutiques for a while now, and I finally got around to doing it. Sugar Love Boutique   was having a great sale and I was able to find the cute chevron top, and the lovely tank top! I ordered a size small in both and had lots of room. In most of my other clothes I wear a medium....but these fit great! Now I am sure you want to know my size and what not...I am 5'1" and about 120 lbs....I have a 34 C bust.....The chevron top has buttons, and I was very happy that a small was able to button up over the boobs...cause usually a small would be impossible to button up over that area! Here is the exciting news....they have a 50% off sale going on until Sunday!!!

HomeWork Box

I don't know about you, but I find it very annoying that every single day I have to hear "I can't find a pencil" or "where is ____?" when it was just used yesterday! I mean how hard is it to put it in the same spot everyday, and just know it will be there for you the next day! VERY HARD!!! At least for a 7 year old, especially when your 2 1/2 year old sister likes to take things because she thinks they are hers! School has been in session for three weeks now, so we have has our fair share of homework already! And yes, it seems like every day we are looking for a pencil or crayons or something to complete the homework! So as such an awesome mom, I put together this "Homework Box"! Inside it has lots of pencils, an eraser, crayons, colored pencils, washable markers, glue, glue stick, pencil sharpener, a pen (for mom to sign homework with) and plenty of extra room to add more if needed! I was thinking of tossing in some sticky notes and a highlighter, just in case its needed in the future! Since we do all the homework at the kitchen table I am planing on keeping this box where we keep the lunch box and plastic garbage bags for easy access! Hopefully it will solve the every day pencil catastrophe!

First Time Cleaning with Shaklee

Hey everyone! Have ya missed me and my posts?? I have missed posting, I got so busy with getting things ready for my son and his first week of school, and trying to get a routine going that I just lost track of my blog! I'm back though! In July Shaklee was running a special, with any order placed you get a FREE membership! I had been wanting to try Shaklee products for a while and just never brought myself to pay for a membership! So I placed my first order in July and one of the things I purchased was the Shaklee Scour Off Heavy Duty Paste! I am SOLD!!! I don't think we will ever buy another cleaning product from the store again! We were given the oven you see in the above photo, and when we got it the sides were filthy! I had tried so many things more then once....I even tried to scrape the crap off the side! It was so "baked on" that the photo on the left was as clean as I could ever get it! I used the Scour off and literally jumped for joy when my oven looked brand new! Imagine that...something got it SPOTLESS!!! Now you might be thinking big deal, and I could have used some elbow grease and a store bought cleaner to do the same thing! TRUE...you can totally do that, but I used very little of the Scour off (and at a great price) and really didn't have to scrub like I would have with the store cleaners! Now non-toxic cleaners in my home is a big topic for me! Hubby thinks we should just buy store cleaners and that they work just as good! So of course I was "sneaky" and ordered the Shaklee when there was an amazing deal, and when my order came in I got right to work! And when he got home I showed him LOTS of before and after photos and he was just as SOLD as I was! I highly recommend this brand to everyone I know, and can tell you first hand it is totally worth it, and in the long run you will save lots of money on cleaning products! What is one thing you have cleaned with Shaklee that store cleaners wouldn't get clean??
