Happy Holidays

Hey everyone, sorry I have not posted in a few weeks! First off I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We did in our house, and now I am looking for new things to keep these kiddos organized! I have had a lot happen since my last post! I finished painting a wooden chair for my daughter. My son turned 7! Then my daughter broke my charger to my laptop, and I had to order a new one! Christmas and visiting a few family and friends. Now I am sitting here in a disaster of toys, and trying to figure out what I should start with first?? Right now I am enjoying a cup of coffee while watching cartoons with my girly! Any of my readers have a girl, with lots of dolls?? How should I organize those? She got like 7 new dolls for Christmas! My goal in this next year is to get fit, and get the house more organized. I am already very small (5 foot and 120 lbs)but I really want to get toned and eat better, oh and remember to take my vitamins daily! Yesterday I started with the Jillian Michale's 30 day shred, and I wont even begin to tell you how ashamed I am! LOL I made it 1/3 the way threw the first challenge, and was dyeing! What do you guys think should I take a before, during, and after photos?? I plan to do 30 days of each of her three workouts on the dvd, so it would be a grand total of 90 days! I better be in shape by the end of that too!! :) Starting on the 31st I am going to join in with some bloggers doing a great challenge with a great giveaway, and will posting my progress for my chance to win! DIY Car Trash Can

With all the holiday planning and running around, you might find that your car is left on the back burner when in the cleaning department. You might be stopping to grab a quick bite to eat, or wrap some last miniute gifts in the trunk, or maybe your kids are eating endless amounts of candy canes in the back seat! That could mean that things are not making their way to the trash as often as they should because of all this hustle and bustle of Christmas! Well here is a simple DIY project you could do this weekend, that will help keep your car clean! I took a plastic coffee container that was no longer needed and painted it with some paint (sample sized container from Lowes). Let it dry, cut an X in the lid, add a bag and call it your "Car Trash Can"! Super cute right? I am very happy to have this, because I often find candy wrappers, and soda containers left in my car, and this is so much easier to just pop the lid off and take the whole bag to the dumpster when its full. Have a great weekend everyone! FYI What I do All Day blog is now on Facebook! Go like our new page, the link is on the top tool bar! :)

Nice Day Outside- Front Porch Clean Up

Hey everyone, I have been super busy and have not had too much time to get on and do a new post! Today was such a nice day outside, and very warm for December. So warm, my son was wearing shorts today! I was so sick of being inside and thought today was the perfect day to get out and enjoy the fresh air! So that's what we did! I took my kids to get a treat, and when we came back I went strait to work on getting our front porch cleaned up. It was a mess!
It became a dumping ground and things were just getting left outside more often then not. I know it will be snowing soon and I did not want to have to deal with this mess while it was cold. Much of what you see was taken to a donation center, and the the rest went strait to the trash can! Over in the corner I put the things that need to go into our garage or attached shed, for when my honey gets home. I swept up all the leaves and got it super clean. Now we can enjoy the nice days on our porch sitting in at our patio set!
I had this patio set made for my hubby as birthday gift. The skull in the arms and table are a darker wood inserted into the light colored wood. It is a very relaxing set, and we have enjoyed a few late nights just talking outside! I plan to keep our porch clean so that I can go out and read my nook when it is nice! In the future I would like to stain the floor, and add an outdoor rug and maybe a few things to make it more like an outdoor living room! Hope you had a great Saturday! :)
