Declutter and Make $

It really seems to be a never ending task! I have been taking things to donation, selling, throwing away...you name it I have probably done it! eBay seems to be a little slow lately. I blame taxes...everyone was rushing to get all their stuff turned in on time and had no time to shop! Hopefully it will pick up soon, cause I have a bunch of stuff waiting to be listed! I have been doing great on Facebook sales. Here are a few things I have sold lately....

This is to give you an idea of what items you might be able to make a few bucks on! I often over look something and think..."No one will buy this" and then a few days later someone is at the door with a couple dollars paying for the item I thought was not worth listing! If you are interested in making money off your "JUNK" head over to Budget Mama for her post on just that! There are many ways to declutter and make money at the same time.
-Yard Sale
- Facebook
- Craigslist
- Free Cycle (you wont make money but you can get rid of it)
How do you make extra cash? Do you sell the things you do not use or donate them? Check back soon for info on how I have been keeping track of the money I make selling on Facebook!

  2. L.L On Facebook someone in our town created a For Sale and an Auction Page, then just started adding her friends, and they added their friends and so on...then we list things we have (free of charge) and people buy them and come pick them up and pay us! I like it better then Craigslist, because I can see who is picking it up before they show up. Most of the time the person buying is friends with one of my friends...feels a little safer! And if anything where to happen its on Facebook, and usually a text or call on our phones too! Check Facebook...Just put (your town) For Sale and something should come up, if not you could always create your a page for your town! How does yardsellr work? Never used that one!

  3. yardsellr is no longer. It used to be an online sale site owned by Facebook.

  4. My friend created a local garage sale site on FB. Im one of the admins. In the last year, it has grown into one of the bigger sell pages in our town. A lot of our members have tried creating their own sell group but they always come back to ours. I usually price my items a little higher than what I would price at a real garage sale but most of it usually sells quickly. I prefer it over cl as well

    1. It is amazing how fast they grow. I follow a few different pages, but I have been really hooked on the one that does the "auctions" I am always shocked at what people will pay for something I think is not worth more then a few $. I agree its so much easier on FB vs CL...and I love that I have no fees...and no shipping!
