Fun Morning with a Good Friend

As a stay at home mom, you are often home alone ALL the time. You start to realize that your conversations are usually in baby talk, or are always about kid topics. Having that one good friend that you can get together with can make life so much more enjoyable. I do not have too many friends now that I am a mom. Life as a mom can be really busy, and not everyone understands that, or that you have to bring your kids with you everywhere. I have been back in touch with one of my middle school friends, and I have to say...I have really enjoyed the time around her and her cute little boy! It is so nice to just get out of the house and have an adult conversation, with someone other then the hubster! LOL We have hung out once a week for a little over a month now. Today we met up at Barnes & Noble. I had a Iced Chai with pumpkin spice! So YUMMY, try it next time you get a drink at Starbucks! It was nice to have some "girl time" while the kids were playing. After that we did a little shopping next door at TJMAXX, my all time favorite store! That place is going to get me into trouble. Now I am home, and about to finish laundry...and get some things done.
