BUILD A BUDGET THAT WORKS - REVIEW

Hey everyone, hope your weekend is off to a great start! If you have been following along you will have read that I was part of the launch team for the book release Jessi had, Build a Budget that Works   .

You might have also saw that I shared a photo of the printables that come with this great book!
Well now I want to share what I thought about the book and the printables! Everything you read about this review is all my own thoughts, I was not paid to do this review. I did however receive a free copy of the book, and will be doing a giveaway starting on October 7th!

First off, this was such an easy read, which is always nice. Especially if you struggle with money, or creating and keeping up with a budget! I would never want to feel like it was too overwhelming to start or maintain! I really love that Jessi thought to put things most of us would not originally think to add to your budget, annual expenses, and even clothing and medical sections!

A few things we budget for here at my house that you might not think to add, money to file your taxes, or pay if you owe and money to pay for our house taxes! I mean really who wants to give up a couple $1,000 when they start the new year?? Not me....and when you print the printables offered in the back of the book, there are some that Jessi has left blank for you to add your own title to!
Here is a blank one we used to track the money for our new baby!

Now while reading this book, she mentions that you can keep the money in your bank account, and track it using the printables that are set up like check books...which I think is awesome by the way! I however prefer the cash envelope option, we pull the money out of checking every pay check, and I add it to our envelopes....

If you do this...PLEASE keep it in a safe place....

One thing I was not doing before I read this book, was tracking the money on paper....well I printed the printables out and have put several to use! The grocery one is the most used right now...and I came very close to going in the negatives at one point, which I might not have noticed any other time, but with the printables its so easy to just log it in, and deduct the amount spent and update my new balance!

I also love how much space are in the boxes for the Log in Info, and account info you might need to keep! Again, please keep this in a safe place!

I think this book is great for anyone starting or someone who might need a refreasher in the budget and money area of life! And the price is so affordable, Jessi made sure that it would not break the bank to purchase this book! She really does want to help you and your budget!
